Myrtle Point is at the summit of Mt. Leconte in Great Smoky Mountain National Park. This pastel painting was inspired by my hike to the top, taking the Alum Cave route, a total of 11.4 miles round trip. Painted during my September 2026 Artist-in-Residence at the park. 12x16 pastel.
